After taking Voluntary Exit from a high profile career in the British Council’s overseas network and leadership roles in Iraq, Kenya and Zambia I returned to England in 2022.
Over time my identiity had become fused with my job title. Without it I suddenly felt lost. Coaching helped me find purpose and adapt. I successfully pivoted to Higher Education, landing roles at top ranked universities. In addition I started a small business and rediscovered purpose through social justice and climate activism.
